Edit @Dianne: The solution was to change the SMTP plugin I was using to Postman SMTP. Thanks to @A.Cedano for the answer :) With that and a normal form text the problem was fixed.

I have a problem with a page that I am developing on my WordPress localhost (the theme I use is Rosa, this is its address: Theme ) and the form is not sent (I am using contact form 7). As something similar happened to me before, the first thing I did was make sure that the form was written correctly. Everything was fine and just in case it was something from there, to discard it I copied and pasted from another page that I made with the same plugin, the form and the header and body of the message. I have made sure that all the fields are correctly written, making the comparison (but with the data of my e-mail).

Once I made sure that everything was fine, as it still didn't work, I installed the plugin: WP Email SMTP and configured it to allow SMTP. I did the test and I received, in my Gmail e-mail, the test mail without any problem (so it is ruled out that the SMTP configuration is wrong).

Finally, I remembered a problem I had a few months ago with Gmail accounts and that gave me the same error (I asked about it here) so I went to the security section of Google accounts and made sure to have activated in the area of security the access of less secure applications.

All of the above is done correctly, but every time I try to fill in the form data and send it (with each and every one of the fields duly completed) I get the error. I have tried to fill in the form after doing control+f5 in case it was a cache problem and the same with an incognito browser, but the same error continues.

I've looked on the internet but I haven't found solutions (they all referred to SMTP and some to google account security, and I had already done those steps) and in this same forum. The closest thing I have found has been a question about a similar error in Laravel, but it has not clarified anything for me (although they were not using what I am using either).

Does anyone know why I keep getting the error? Here is an image of the error:

With WP_DEBUG enabled, I looked at the Google Chrome console to see what errors might be coming up. These are the ones he told me (although two are from the Google map because I haven't configured it yet, but that shouldn't affect the form since they are separate).

On line 465 there is the following (it marks a warning in createShadowRoot() ) :

If I click on the link that the warning takes me to, it takes me to the following link: Chromestatus . I assume that everyone will be able to see it. However, as much as I read what appears on that page, I can't understand it well (my English isn't exactly very good).

I have a blog on a website with a sidebar on the right and on the rest of the website, the sidebar should not appear. On the web I also have the woocommerce for purchases. The weird thing is that on the individual product pages, the sidebar appears just below the product images BUT to the left.

This bar should not appear anywhere other than the blog. I have looked a thousand times in the settings and there is nothing that indicates a sidebar on the left (only on the right and in the blog).

So after all this, I decided to go into the woocommerce .php files hoping to remove it from there... and I should have removed it, but the bar is still there.

I went to single-product.php and removed this code

After removing it, I went to archive-product.php and removed the following:

Finally, I went to the usual css of my wordpress and added the following rule:

I added the !important later when I saw that it had no effect, but not even with those did the bar disappear. I also tried the following (replacing the above css rule with this one) but it didn't work either:

With the CSS I made the sidebar invisible with visibility:hidden only in the store bar (in the blog the corresponding sidebar continued) but the problem is that it occupies a lot of that sidebar and leaves a huge blank space (which is why that I want to remove it, since it makes the store ugly and on top of not having anything useful for the store, it takes up a lot of space and the rest is left blank).

I was optimizing the web but I realized that the plugin I used for the page slider slowed it down a lot (and made it weigh a lot more) so since I'm using bootstrap, I decided to make a new one with code. The problem is that absolutely nothing is displayed with the code I have made. I want it dynamic, so that they can modify it, so using the CPT-UI I created a post called "slider" to which I left the title and the header image and with the Custom Advanced Fields, I created a Field Group called slider in a way "post type is equal to slider". After this I have gone to the posts and I have called each one "img1" , "img2", "img3" and "img4", each one with its corresponding image. Once this was done, I went to index.

With this code all you see is this (image), which has a link and pulls the screen down a bit, but that's not what it should do. (The blue part is from the header below where the slider should go).

In the header I have javascript 3.3.6 and the same with css. From Jquery, I have version 1.12.2 .

EDIT: I found a way to show the slider, using this code, but now the slider arrows don't work (that is, they don't advance the image, they just scroll down the page a bit). I suspect that it does some kind of interference with my scroll but the tests I have done, with javascript, have not worked (I have the jquery before the javascript in the header). I am working on a web page and it is already uploaded to the hosting (but since I still have to fix some little thing, I have closed the access). The issue is that I opened it for a moment to see what Google was telling me in its website loading speed tools, and I've gotten some errors that I haven't been able to solve. It is the first time that I do a web project.

This is one of the errors that it gives me but the truth is that I had never heard of this and although I have read information about it, I do not understand how to fix it :(

I have the latest version of wordpress and contact form 7 and the php version of the server that is installed is 5.5 (the latest stable version as far as I know). It is a test server. The problem is that I fill out the entire form and wait and wait and wait but I never get the e-mail confirming that it works. I have searched the internet for solutions but I have not found any (I saw this page that required the Easy WP SMTP plugging but I have not been able to make it work, in Testing And Debugging Settingsit I get an error that tells me the following: SMTP connect() failed.I have gone to that page but I cannot understand what it says).

Do any of you know how to make Contact Form 7 work? I don't care if it's with that plugging or in another way... I've seen that it's a common error but what I've tried I haven't been able to get it to work.
