Hello everyone in advance, thank you very much for your answers and comments. I want to achieve the following I have a date which I get from the database with the following format this date is a string and I store it in the date variable:

date := "2015-02-01T00:00:00Z"

I want to transform said date to the date data type to extract the year with the YEAR() function, which gives me something like the following:

date := "2015-02-01"

I am trying as follows:

    newDate, error := time.Parse("2022-02-01", date)
    if error != nil {
        fmt.Println(error)
    }
    println("año", date.Year())

However, this returns a 1 and should return 2015, printing the parse returns this:

parsing time "2022-02-01T00:00:00Z" as "2022-02-01": cannot parse "-02-01T00:00:00Z" as "2"

If I print the date variable after parsing, I see that it returns this:

0001-01-01 00:00:00 +0000 UTC

I think what is generating the error are the seconds, minutes and hours in my string but I don't know how to solve it.

Hello everyone in advance, thanks for your answers and comments, my question is simple, I'm learning GO and I don't know how to do this, I want to get the elapsed years from a given date in Golang ie I have the following date saved in a variable:

date :=  "2020-08-16"

I want to get the years that have elapsed to the current date (2022).

I have been given an example of an api call with this date format: endDate=2022-04-24T11%3A09%3A32 And I don't know what the A and % mean. Neither is this 100% of what minutes, seconds, etc. correspond to... Not even if I have to reconstruct them with one or two figures, in 12 or 14 format... Someone is familiar with this format.

I've searched on Stack Overflow but can't find it.

In SQL Sever 2008 I have a table called "tbltemp" with a field called "day", this field is type DateTime.

When I query direct dates on this field, it shows the following: Select day from tbltep

2017-03-20 00:00:00.000
2017-03-21 00:00:00.000
2017-03-22 00:00:00.000
2017-03-23 00:00:00.000

I would like to transform the query so that it returns as follows:

Lun 20-03-2017
Mar 21-03-2017
Mie 22-03-2017
Jue 23-03-2017

etc.

(The query I have is much larger than that but I do need to transform the datetime data)
