Good morning, I would like to know how I can reduce the loading time of my website, the website has a radio.
<div class="reproductor">
<video id="myVideo" width="320" height="176">
<source src="http://109.167.24.228:8888/stream" type="video/mp4">
</video>
</div>
This is the code for the radio that I have on the web but it slows down the loading time a lot. How can I reduce the loading time?
If you use jquery, I think you could do something like the following:
html:
javascript:
});
The idea is that when the page is loaded, the document.ready is launched, the source of the video is added and then the play is executed.
I have done this example, but it gives me a timeout with your stream url (I assume it is from your own server).
I think there is little you can do. When implementing the stream from another pc, that requires the request, response, load etc... As for the rest, if you order css, try to compress the JS (I mean use only what is necessary). Then another thing that occurs to me, that maybe the stream has too much quality and that's why it takes so long. Not much else comes to mind. Then it also occurs to me, that when sending the stream, that the base resolution is 320x178, to what you are going to show it on the page, so you will also reduce something.
