I have the following error when adding an ImageView. this is my imageview and the error

You have a memory error when loading the image, what you should do is resize it before displaying it and then load it programmatically to the ImageView
And you assign the bitmap to the ImageView with
tuImageView.setImageBitmap().
The problem is that the image used is too big when manipulating it it consumes too much memory.
Try a more weight and size optimized version of your image.
