Can you change mariaDB from XAMPP to Mysql?

When I installed XAMPP, mariaDB appeared in phpMyAdmin in the Server type sectionenter image description here

and when I tried to access cmd to make a database in MySQL from the console, mariaDB also appeared enter image description here

    Until version 5.6.12 1, XAMPP included MySQL. Later he switched to MariaDB 2.

    In particular, this latest version with MySQL contains:

    • Apache 2.4.16
    • PHP 5.5.28 / 5.6.12
    • MySQL 5.6.26
    • phpMyAdmin 4.4.14
