How do I change the text cursor in visual studio code | macOS?

Somehow I ended up with a rectangle instead of the default line.

    You have that in Code -> Preferences/Preferences -> Settings/Configuration -> and in the search field type "cursor" it will take you to Text Editor /Text Editor and below it says Cursor. In Cursor Style / Cursor Style you now have block or block. Change it to the one you want. here is an example
