At this moment I am working with a css style that allows me to give a circular shape to the inputs
, but it does not work well with the selects
, the items are not displayed when I select them and I would also like the dropdown list to be circular as well as the select.
<style>
.form-control {
display: block;
width: 100%;
height: calc(1.5em + 0.75rem + 2px);
padding: 0.375rem 0.75rem;
font-size: 1rem;
font-weight: 400;
line-height: 1.5;
color: #6e707e;
background-color: #fff;
background-clip: padding-box;
border: 1px solid #d1d3e2;
border-radius: 0.35rem;
transition: border-color 0.15s ease-in-out, box-shadow 0.15s ease-in-out;
}
.form-control-user {
font-size: 0.8rem;
border-radius: 10rem;
padding: 1.5rem 1rem;
}
</style>
<input type="password" class="form-control form-control-user" id="exampleInputPassword" placeholder="Password" name="password" style="width: 250px; height:;">
<br>
<select class="form-control form-control-user" style="width: 250px;">
<option selected>Select</option>
<option>Option 1</option>
<option>Option 2</option>
<option>Option 3</option>
</select>
</div>
Note: I don't want to involve JavaScript, and I want to preserve the styling, at least to display the selected text.
Start by removing the following line from the css of the select:
With this you will see the content of the option, with the rest, I don't think it can be done with css, surely you will find it with javascript but I don't see it as very aesthetic.
If your problem is with the size, you can remove the line:
And let the padding control the height of the inputs.
