Currently developing in asp.net c#
, html5
, javascript
, css
.
I'm honestly not very good at javascript and I try to solve issues by researching.
Well, I have an aspx page, which shows a grid, but this grid I have frozen the first column and the first row. all this works perfectly fine, the example is taken from:gridviewscroll.aspcity.idv.tw
This is the script I use in my project http://gridviewscroll.aspcity.idv.tw/Scripts/gridviewScroll.min.js?20130319
On the other hand, I wanted to implement a loading image which works for me but it interrupts the grid, it breaks it, it appears without the freeze and out of frame. I have tried many ways, in which I concluded that these two gentlemen generate a conflict for me, this is one jquery
which helps me in the loading image .
http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js
Is there any way in which you can help me, perhaps by selecting what is just and necessary from the javascript to load the loading image
, the example of loading image
the take it from here:
http://www.aspsnippets.com/Articles/Display-loading-image-while-PostBack-calls-in-ASPNet.aspx
The problem is that you are using jquery together with asp.net events, that combination never got along. If the idea is to use events, I could help you with the ajax toolkit controls, such as
UpdateProgress
[How Do I:] Use the ASP.NET AJAX UpdateProgress Control?
I must tell you that jquery and asp.net with their events do not get along, you should evaluate avoiding using events and performing operations through ajax, if you use jquery you could implement
$.ajax
it to invoke any webmethod defined in itaspx
Cheers
I have done a small test (I was intrigued by the library
GridViewScroll
because I did not know it) and it has worked correctly for me.I think the problem is not in an incompatibility between
GridViewScroll
and the loading image. It is possible that it is the latter that causes problems with your design. Here I leave a fragment of my code (you have it complete in this GitHub Gist)
The first thing I recommend is that you check if a javascript error is being generated, in which case it would be good if you put it here to better identify the case.
On the other hand, I recommend an excellent jQuery library that I have used in several projects to show a "loading" while processes are being carried out on a page: http://malsup.com/jquery/block/ in the examples you can see what you can put loading at the level of the entire page or at the level of an element according to your needs.
Greetings.
