I have an activity in my app which contains circular images similar to those of the "Orders Now" app.

I would like to know exactly what I am asking in the title, because I am about to partner with a graphic designer for the design of my images. Should I ask for these images with different measurements? Or can I launch my app with a single image size for these circular images, without affecting the view of them?

You can import your images with android studio which will create the different dimensions necessary for the type of screen:
Then select the image and android will show you the different dimensions to create:
If you want to create images for devices of various sizes and densities, it is currently best to require images in .svg format
From these images, locate your /drawable resource directory and right-click to open the context menu:

In the case of Image Asset you can generate images even combining an image (Foreground Layer) and a background (Backgroind layer)
Based on the source image you can generate images for different densities:
The use of .svg images has many advantages, such as it is lightweight, it can be scaled to any size without losing image detail (pixelation), you can use tools like http://www.inkscape.org/ to create this type of graphics.
