When uploading my app to Google Play, it asks me to change the API level, search but it tells me that I have to go to project structure and I should find a section where I find app and go to the flavors section but without success.
When uploading my app to Google Play, it asks me to change the API level, search but it tells me that I have to go to project structure and I should find a section where I find app and go to the flavors section but without success.
Previously it was done from the file
AndroidManifest.xml
now it should preferably be done inside the /app/build.gradle file , even these values override those defined in
AndroidManifest.xml
:If you want to do it from "Project Structure" there you can only modify the values of
compileSdkVersion
andbuildToolsVersion
defined in your project.from the menu, go to

>Project Structure
, select your app and selectModules

project structure/modules/app
, and where it sayscompile sdk
version, change the level, and according to the Android Studio documentation https://developer.android.com/distribute/best-practices/develop/target-sdk .html must be chosen Android 9.0 (API level 28)and set this in the manifest:
