Hello, greetings to all
I am working with Django and using the Django suit library.
This library changes the style of the administrator, between the changes they make, it puts the menu on the left side with the options of the modules and their models in a drop-down sub-menu.
The problem is that this menu is presenting a failure.
It appears to some of the users of the application and not to others, as can be seen in the image.
In my case it stopped working when I cleared the browsing history.
Does anyone know what is causing this error.
Note: no errors are displayed in the browser console.
This is the configuration in my filesettings.py
Installed apps section
INSTALLED_APPS = [
'suit',
'bootstrap3',
...
]
templates section
TEMPLATES = [
{
'BACKEND': 'django.template.backends.django.DjangoTemplates',
'DIRS': [normpath(join(SITE_ROOT, 'templates'))],
'APP_DIRS': True,
'OPTIONS': {
'context_processors': [
'django.template.context_processors.debug',
'django.template.context_processors.request',
'django.contrib.auth.context_processors.auth',
'django.contrib.messages.context_processors.messages',
"aplicaciones.lib.context_processors.augurio",
],
},
},
]
I tried in the edge browser and the menu worked fine, go to firefox and the menu also appears.
I deleted the history of the google chrome browser and it still doesn't work, the strange thing is that for other users it works as it should; in that browser.
The error is with Chrome, as seen in its Github repository you must update the version of suit :
