I am learning to develop a Rest API and I would like to show the corresponding server code, depending on the requests that are made.
I'm thinking of it like this:
I copied one array
from the PHP page and I was thinking of displaying them with a foreach
with a http_response_code.
I saw some of the headers and php_sapi_name
but I still haven't gotten the idea.
I don't know if they have anything to do with what I want to do. The point is to correctly display the status and its corresponding message. How could it be? I hope I was clear. First of all, Thanks.
<?php
foreach ($http_status_codes as $code){
http_response_code($code);
}
$http_status_codes = array( 100 => "Continue",
101 => "Switching Protocols",
102 => "Processing",
200 => "OK",
201 => "Created",
202 => "Accepted",

I found the following and wanted to know if there is a way to put it together with the above:
$sapi_type = php_sapi_name();
if (substr($sapi_type, 0, 3) == 'cgi')
header("Status: 404 Not Found");
else
header("HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found");
If you want to display custom messages for each error code, you can do the following:
$http_status_codes
as you already do, associating each error code to a specific message.http_response_code
the error code that occurred.For example:
