My doubt is that I put cmd in the console
C:\Users\Jorge>python --version
and I don't get the version as the tutorial says but it does
"python" is not recognized as an internal or external command,
executable program or batch file.
Can someone enlighten me that I seem to be doing something wrong?
sure you didn't enable you included the path at the time of python installation.
In case of not wanting to reinstall the program we will do the following
We add it manually:
sysdm.cpl
we open the system properties windowpath
and click edit and at the end with;
you addWhat is PATH?
It is an Operating System variable where the paths are specified in which the command interpreter (CMD) must look for the programs to execute when we place a name/command in the console.
Fix all conflicts by installing Anaconda. It even comes with Spyder, a great IDE for Python.
