I use python and I have a series of URLs. Some are semantic, others are not. (they are alphanumeric codes).
I would like to know what information can be extracted from a URL today (no scraping or source code of the page, just the URL)
For example: - Could we decode non-semantic urls? - Could we codify the semantic URLs in a simple way? - Could we know things like advertising (gclid parameter), retail purchases, etc.?
Thank you very much
There is no unified criteria for the formation of urls so no, there is no extra information (besides the protocol: https, mailto, file, to name a few).
