Please share some of your knowledge, how can I get a value 'N' to be added to a cell with a given value, and the value N to be added to the first cell, and the result to be placed in the cell B2, and to the value of cell B2 the value N is added, and the result is placed in cell C2 and so on.
Thank you for your attention !
It's just create a formula and drag. If N is always going to be 9, then you can plug that right into the formula. If N is customizable, then put it in a separate cell, and reference the cell in your formula (fixed with $).
An example. I have designed this:
In the cell
B1
is where you specify the value you want n to have (the increment)In the cell you
B3
specify the initial value.My formula in
A7
is=B3
My formula in
A8
is=A7+$B$1
By dragging down from
A8
, the formula itself increments the top value by n (in this example, n=9).I have uploaded the file to my Google Drive, in case you want to download it and look at the formulas. I hope you can adapt it to your needs.
