I have a problem, I have made this script with php to send the form information and they tell me from 1&1 that the SMTP protocol can cause problems on their server, while the mail function does work, and they send me this template to configure it with a mail.htt file that reflects the input of the form and another response.htt to thank if the submission has been successful.
The template that 1&1 from HTML sends me is this:
How can I embed the information from each field of my form in the template that 1&1 sends me and that it ensures works? I see that the HTML template of the form has type="hidden" and I don't know how to do it, this is nothing like what I see in tutorials that seems to work for everyone.
Thank you,
All the best.
If the mail() function assures you from 1&1 that it works correctly, you just have to remove the SMTP configuration part of your call to phpmailer, especially the
$mail->isSMTP();
Commenting that part of the code should do the trick.
