I have confused with the directory that should be the git repository. and I want it to be a normal directory again. There is a way to do it.
what i have done is git init to a directory.

I am upgrading my comment to reply:
Doing
git init
so simply creates a folder inside that, called.git
where git keeps the local copy of the repository and all the meta-information it needs to work.On unix you don't see it because file or folder names starting with a dot are not shown with
ls
unless you putls -a
. In Windows it is perfectly visible.Just delete that folder
.git
with all its content (in Linux you can do it with arm -rf .git
)
