Hello, I have been struggling since I started programming in iOS with the use of Pods in projects, an example is when I install the Floaty Pod without problems and when I use it, the properties of the view do not appear and thus be able to give it a design to my button
I've pointed the view at the class it belongs to as follows, but I can't get the properties to appear.
This is how it should appear but I can't figure out why it doesn't appear this way how it is displayed in the Github repository https://github.com/kciter/Floaty :
This not only happens with this library, but like all the ones I have installed, such as MaterialComponents, can someone please help me if something similar has happened to them since I have been struggling with it for a long time and I cannot find a root solution .
- The Xcode version is: Version 10.1 (10B61)
- The version of cocoapods is: cocoapods-1.5.3
- The ruby version is: ruby 2.3.7p456
Reviewing the library that Floaty mentions in order to edit the attributes in the storyboard, the "User Defined Runtime Attributes" section must be declared as an attachment in image1. The changes may not be reflected immediately for this, there are two options; one having selected the option "Automatically Refresh Views" or clicking on "Refresh All Views"
As for the fact that they do not appear visible in the "Attributes inspector" window, it is due to the declaration made by the library in its Floaty.swift class, since it is declared as follows:
If we modify by deleting the "@objc" compatibility, these declarations remain as follows:
You can view the properties in the "Attributes inspector" window as shown in image 3
