I have an embed that is activated with a modal
<div class='modal' id='ver'><embed
src='www.miweb.com/form' style='width: 100%; height: 100%;'/></div>
What happens is that my page slows down in the sense that I'm scrolling the page and it seems that it gets stuck, as if it downloaded another website first and then mine, what do I do? will it be the embed? how do I solve it?
That's exactly what happens. Your page is making an embedded request and when your page hits the request, the HTML processing stops until the request is downloaded.
To give you a better answer, you should give more details of the form. Is it an HTML form? So use
<iframe>
instead of<embed>
.<embed>
is more suitable for other types of applications (for example, your form is a .swf object (flash for example), and even in that case, I would recommend using<object>
The most efficient would be to use AJAX, as another user has told you, but only if you have control over the headers of the servers, to avoid access control problems (CORS). How you implement it will depend a lot on your setup (what version of ECMAScript specification are you using, if you use any framework or plugin or not, etc.)
