java.lang.StackOverflowError error - Gradle, when selecting project in Eclipse Oxygen

Good morning everyone!

I am currently working with Gradle, the problem is that when I want to select a project to perform any task from the Gradle Task view , it seems that it goes "crazy" since it tries to select all the projects at the same time, and finally throws me this error:

After I give it ok , the following appears:

The problem is that even if I completely restart my IDE, I still get the error. I already updated the Gradle but the problem persists.

If anyone knows how to fix it and could guide me, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Doing the installation again was the solution.
