I have a problem that I don't know how to solve, to see if you can help me.
In a window I have a window which has the personal data and other data of a person in which there is a "Modify" link that takes me to the form to modify the data, but said link redirects you to the form to modify the old web .
The issue is that when I click on the link to go to modify the data, an alert appears, which I have not put and depending on the browser you are in, it puts a different text, and I do not know why I get said alert, in Chrome I get the alert that says "Do you really want to exit the website? the changes have not been saved" in firefox it says something similar but in other words, I click cancel so as not to leave the window, but if I give it a second time, the alert no longer jumps and it redirects me to the modify window of the old website. The issue is that said alert should not appear since I have not put it and I imagine that it is a browser issue and I do not know if there is any function or something to deactivate it.
Thank you very much
The Alert you see is triggered by the JavaScript onbeforeunload event , each browser and browser version has a different implementation, so change the text, if you don't want to see it anymore, search for that text in the entire project and delete it, with the function that is added . It can appear as
onbeforeunload="algunaFuncion()"
, asobject.onbeforeunload = function(){//codigo}
orobject.addEventListener("beforeunload", function(){//codigo});
