Problem repeating function with javascript in FOR loop

Hello everyone I have a question I have this code 

    for (i=1; i>=variable; i++ ){
       function formula '+i+' (){

       }
    }

I would like to know how I make the function repeat itself automatically, I add the variable i but it says error

SyntaxError: missing (before formal parameters

I appreciate the help provided in advance

    I tell you the following as I understood your exercise, it should be as follows

    let tope = 10
    for(i=0;i<=tope;i++){
      function saludo(){
        console.log(`Hola soy el numero: ${i}`)
      }
      saludo()
    }

    In the example I use, I declare the following:

    1. the variable topewill be the limit respected by the for
    2. I use that top variable in the for
    3. inside forI declare a function that will print the value of the variable i for each iteration that the for, I used template strings to print the value in question
    4. just before the close of forthe I call the execution of the mode functionsaludo()

    For each iteration of the for from 0 to 10 in my example; the function is going to be repeating and therefore executing the functionality assigned to it
