I've been trying to install any of the 1.7.x versions on a VPS with a clean install of Debian GNU/Linux 8.10 (jessie) for a couple of days now.
The FTP user is created and VESTACP is installed and everything is great, I upload the files via FTP and when entering the domain by url the installer opens, unzips its files, requests the data of the new store and its connections to the database and everything seems to be going well until reaching the last step, where the famous progress bar and the list of the tasks it is doing should appear, but in my case it does not appear. By code I see that it is, but it appears with " display:none
", and even if I make it visible, obviously it doesn't work.
Prestashop 1.7.x installation error last step without progress bar
It is as if the trigger that causes the start of the installation was not fired (forgive the redundancy).
I have also seen that apparently, it does not load Jquery, although in the first of the steps it does not load it either and it lets me get to the last of the steps.
Prestashop 1.7.x installation error
Total, I don't know where to go now...
You have a 500 error, it is very likely that the problem is due to file permissions, what you should do is recursively change all the files to
0644
and the folders to0755
, you can do this with FileZilla.
