when I write in Atom, for example a txt file. Normally if the line is longer than Atom's own window I should go to the end of it. I think there is an option so that if the line exceeds the horizontal limit, a line break is made automatically, we are going to adjust the text according to the window.
Do you know where that option is in Atom?
THANK YOU!
What you are looking for is called Soft Wrap and you can activate it from the configuration panel, you access it by crushing cmd + ,or ctrl + ,depending on the operating system you will reach this view
We click on <> Editor
We go down until we find the Soft Wrap checkbox, we activate it and that's it, it's activated by default
Another option is to go directly to the configuration file, we can do it by pressing cmd + shift + por ctrl + shift + pand we write , and we look for the Application: Open Your Config
config
option , we choose it and the file will be openedconfig.cson
We look for the line that says
softWrap: false
, if it does not exist we must add it to the level of adding the trueeditor
attributesoftWrap: true
