I have a problem with compatibility with the following code

specifically with this part
parent="@android:style/TextAppearance.Material.Title"
Since it was implemented in API 21, do you have a replacement for API 19 that does not generate this incompatibility error.
Thank you.!!!!! c;
For this you need to have a folder of 2 values.
One that exists by default , and another, you have to create in your folder
res
and name it values-v21 .In the defaults folder, under
styles.xml
, use a theme other than Material Design. And in the folderstyles.xml of values-v21
you created, use the Material D theme.The Smartphone will automatically select the file
styles.xml
it supports. If the phone supports Material Design (Lollipop+ devices), your app will use material theme (values-21 folder).if you don't (on phones with older Android versions), the defaults folder will be used.
