Can't connect to TFS 2017

I installed TFS 2017 on a company server. From inside the server I can normally access https://server-name/tfs. But when I do it from my local machine it doesn't let me.

From IE:

Temporary DNS error. Try to refresh the page.Error code: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND)

And from the VS

TF31002: Unable to connect to this Team Foundation Server

Any ideas? Could it be that I don't have remote access to the server or will it be something from TFS?

    The problem:

    You are off the grid

    In order to solve it:

    1. Your computer's DNS settings point to the company's DNS server. You can do this in 2 ways: by editing the hosts file located at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ or by assigning the DNS IP in network settings.
    2. With this, now yes, you are in the same network of the company.
    3. In case you are outside the domain, you need a user that is yours. And if you're on the domain, your active directory username and password will be your credential to access TFS.
